Delete your Yerrme account

How to request deletion (in the app)

1. Open the Yerrme app and sign in.
2. Open Settings (from your profile).
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE when prompted, then continue and confirm. This starts the deletion process.

If you cannot sign in (for example you lost access to your email), email support@yerrme.com from the address associated with your account, with your Yerrme handle, so we can verify and help.

What happens when you delete your account

• Your account is disabled immediately and you are signed out.
• Your content is removed from feeds right away.
• Permanent deletion of your user record, posts (shouts), echoes, direct messages, and associated media is queued and completed within 30 days, subject to backup and technical processes.
• Safety and trust-and-safety logs may be retained for up to 180 days where needed to enforce our rules and protect the community, as described in the app.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can remove individual posts and manage profile content in the app without closing your account. For other requests, contact support@yerrme.com.
